Veselin Koshev

Born in Burgas on 03.02.1949He graduated from the German language high school in his hometown and German philology at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.He was arrested in August 1979 and an investigation was initiated against him at “Razvigor”.Declared a zealous opponent of the socialist system, expelled from the Komsomol and disciplinary dismissed from work.He was banned from practicing his profession and from leaving the country.He is one of the first politicians in Bulgaria who founded a political party in 1989 together with a group of like-minded people.Founder of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and its first political secretary. Since May 1990, he has been the chairman of the LDP.One of the founders of the Political Opposition Bloc, co-founder of the Liberal Union.Participated in the creation of the Coalition for the Tarnovo Constitution “Svoboda”. Co-chairman of the Bulgarian Democratic Center until June 1993.As chairman of the LDP, he participated in a number of international forums of the Liberal International and the Movement of European Liberal, Democratic and Reformist Parties.Chairman of the Stefan Stambolov Foundation until 2008.Initiator and Founder of the Direct Democracy European Movement and its Chairman (since July 6, 2002, Honorary President of the “Bulgarian Construction and Commercial Consortium” and the “Euro-Asian Association for Business, Culture and Friendship.”, Chief Coordinator of the “Alliance – Bulgaria-France Alsace 2012”.First editor-in-chief of “Svoboda” (Freedom”) newspaper and director of the newspaper “Narodovlastie i Svoboda” (“Democracy and freedom”) until their closure due to lack of financial resources.He follows the ideas of the great Bulgarian statesman Stefan Stambolov, a zealous defender of the national idea and the principles of democracy.He defends the cause of a strong and European Bulgaria – with the motto “Bulgaria above all, but in harmony with the world and its neighbors”.

Dr. Todor Trifonov

He was born in 1959 in the village of Davidkovo, Smolyan region.He graduated from the Polytechnic High School in the city of Plovdiv, and the “Security” faculty at the Higher Special School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a Master of Public Order and Security Management (1983). In 1991, he graduated as a Master of Law from the Higher Institute of the Ministry of the Interior.In 1993, he was awarded the scientific degree “Doctor of Law” at the Academy of the Ministry of Security of Russia. Since 1997, he has been an Associate Professor of Intelligence Theory at the Free University in Varna. In 1999, the Higher Attestation Commission of the Council of Ministers awarded him with the academic title of “Senior Research Associate II Degree in Organization and Management”. Honorary Professor of the Institute for National and International Security.He is a member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria and the Union of Lawyers in Bulgaria. He taught at the Academy of the Ministry of the Interior, at the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the New Bulgarian University and at the University of National and World Economy.He worked in the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He participated in the creation of the Central Service for Combating Organized Crime. He held the general positions of Deputy Director of the National “Security” Service and the National “Fire and Emergency Safety” Service.He works in the sphere of the defense industry of Bulgaria – Dunarit AD, Ruse and Cherno More AD, Varna.He is the chairman of the management board of the “Institute for National and International Security” Foundation and a member of the Management Board of the “National Chamber of Security Guards and Detectives” Association.Since 2015, he has been a representative of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bulgaria. He is a member of the Management Boards of the Bulgarian-Iranian and Bulgarian-Syrian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Balkan-Indian Business Association.Vice-President of the European Movement for Democracy and Co-President of the Bulgarian Construction and Commercial Consortium.

Prof. Dr. Diana Gergova

Born on April 26, 1948 in Sofia. Graduated in history with archeology at SU “St. Climent Ohridski”, Doctor, St. Associate and Scientific Secretary of the National Archaeological Institute with Museum – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, professor of archeology at the State University – Rzeszów – Poland. Specialized in the USSR, England, Italy, France, and Japan. Organizer of scientific forums, commissioner and organizer of national and international exhibitions in the country and abroad. Head and coordinator of numerous archaeological researches in Bulgaria and abroad. Author of 6 books and over 200 articles on the problems of Thracian culture and religion, comparative studies, cultural heritage, etc., published in Bulgaria and abroad; documentary film consultant, editor and compiler of the Helis series and in other Bulgarian and foreign magazines. Teacher and supervisor of doctoral students at the University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” – Veliko Tarnovo, at New Bulgarian University and Tokai University – Japan, Member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, of the Management Board of the National Committee of ICOMOS – UNESCO, of the Scientific Committee on Funerary Archeology – Braila, of the National Council for the Preservation of Cultural Monuments – Ministry of Culture, of the European Archaeological Association and a representative for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the World Archaeological Congress. Awards: American Biographical Institute’s Woman of the Year in Archeology and Business and the Moto Pfoe Heritage Preservation Award. Co-founder and Deputy Chairman of the DDEM.

eng. Georgi Shopov

Born in the city of Sofia on 29.10.1972. Graduated with honors from secondary education in the city of Sofia. He then attended the University of Architecture, Construction and Geodesy in the city of Sofia and graduated with the degree of Master of Civil Engineering in Industrial and Civil Engineering. In the period 1995 to 2000 works as a freelancer. Since 2000 is the manager and owner of “Tobo” OOD holding. Major construction contractor and investor. He speaks English. Deputy Chairman of the DDEM. Co-president of the Bulgarian Construction and Commercial Consortium and the Euro-Asian Association for Business, Culture and Friendship …Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Construction Contractors. Honorary Consul of Indonesia for Bulgaria.

Nikolay Kondov

Born on August 24, 1966 in Velingrad. He graduated with honors from the Vasil Levski National Sports Academy in Sofia, majoring in coaching and teaching. In the period 1987-1994, he was a professional athlete – biathlon at CSKA. From 1994 to 1997, he was a partner in wholesale trade in the company “Rai Mak” OOD. Before 1997 – 2004, he was a partner in the company “Baron” OOD – Diadora Italy shoe factory. Since 2004, he is the owner of the company “Number one ADV” EOOD – successfully operating in the field of wholesale and retail trade, import and export. The company is the official representative for Bulgaria of world-famous companies from Europe and Asia. He speaks English and Russian. Member of the Central Management of EDPD, co-chairman of the Bulgarian Construction and Trade Consortium and the Euro-Asian Association for Business Culture and Friendship.

Born on 30.07.1963 in the city of Sofia. He completed his secondary education at the Vocational-technical secondary school of motor transport, and his semi-higher education at VVTU “Todor Kableshkov”, majoring in “Automatics, telemechanics and communication links”. He graduated from the Technical University of Sofia, majoring in Computing. From 1992-2003, he was the chief designer at “24 Chasa” in the “Advertising” department. Manager and majority owner of “Dundee-VS” advertising agency OOD.
